Event Format: Horses and riders competed in a dressage stage, a cross country stage and a jumping stage with two rounds. Individual and team competitions used the same scoring. Both jumping rounds counted for the individual results but only the top 25 riders were qualified for the final jumping round. Each nation could only have three riders in the final jumping round. Event facts: Eventing individual competition was held at the National Equestrian Center and 65 athletes participated in the event. |
