Men's Giant slalom - Alpine Skiing - Torino 2006 Winter Olympics
Event Format:
Each skier ran two races down the giant slalom course. In giant slalom the gates were placed at a greater distance from each other than in the slalom event and the skiers turns were longer than in slalom. The Gold Medal winner was the athlete with the best total time for the two races. Event facts: Men's Giant slalom competition was held at the Sestriere and 82 athletes participated in the event. |
