Format: Curling is played on ice between two teams with four players on each team. A game consists of ten "ends". In an "end" each player deliver two stones towards the "house". After all 16 stones are delivered the score for the "end" is determined. The team with the most points after ten "ends" is the winner. In Olympic Games there are two curling events, women's and men's competition, each with ten participating teams. In the preliminary round the ten teams play a "round robin" tournament and the four best teams advance to the semifinals and the medal matches
