| Women's Giant slalom - Alpine Skiing - Oslo 1952 Winter Olympics
Event Format:
Each skier ran a single race down the giant slalom course. In giant slalom the gates were placed at a greater distance from each other than in the slalom event and the skiers turns were longer than in slalom. The Olympic gold medal winner was the athlete with the fastest time for the race. Event facts: Women's Giant slalom competition was held at the Norefjell and 45 athletes participated in the event. |
