Event Format: Nordic Combined combines ski jumping and cross country skiing. There is only competitions for men and an event includes one ski jump and 10 km skiing. Nordic Combined in Olympic Games consists of two individual events (jumping on Large Hill and Normal Hill) and a team event (jumping on Large Hill). In the team event each team consists of four athletes. In the cross country relay the first athlete in each team starts with a delay depending on the jumping score for the team. The winner is the team whose final athlete crosses the finish line first.
