Format: Short track teams competed in heats on a short oval ice track. The competition format included preliminary rounds and finals (A-final and B-final). The top teams in each heat (Q) advanced to the next level. The B-final determined the classification from place no. 5 to 8 and the A-final from place no. 1 to 4. The Gold Medal winner was the team winning the A-final.
