Event Format: Big Air is an event where the competitors ride a snowboard down a hill and perform complex tricks after launching off very large jumps. Competitors tried to attain sizable height and distance and they must secure a clean landing. The competition included qualifying rounds where the top athletes (Q) advanced to the final. The Gold Medal winner was the athlete winning the final.
