Men's 4x7,5 km - Biathlon - Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics
Event Format:
There were four athletes on each team in the Team Relay race and all participating teams started at the same time. There were two shooting stages in each leg, the first one in a prone position and the second one in a standing position, all with three extra bullets to be loaded by hand if necessary. For each missed target after using the extra shots the biathlete had to ski a 150-meter penalty loop immediately after shooting.The team whose final skier was the first to cross the finishing line was the winner of the Olympic gold medals. Event facts: Men's 4x7,5 km competition was held at the Zhangjiakou National Biathlon Centre and 21 teams participated in the event. |
