Women's Team - Gymnastics - London 1948 Summer Olympics

Event Format: All entrants competed in the all-round competition in compulsory and optional exercises performed on all apparatuses. In the team competition each team consisted of eight athletes. Best six individual total scores counted in the team score. The team with the highest total score won the Gold Medal.

Event facts: Women's Team competition was held at the Empress Hall, Earls Court and 11 teams participated in the event.
