Men's Super-G - Alpine Skiing - Nagano 1998 Winter Olympics

Event Format: Each skier ran a single race down the Super-G (Super Giant Slalom) course. Super-G was a discipline with elements from both the downhill event and the giant slalom event. With high speed the skiers had to pass some widely placed gates and make some long turns. The Olympic gold medal winner was the skier with the fastest time for the race.

Event facts: Men's Super-G competition was held at the Mt. Higashidate, Shigakogen and 45 athletes participated in the event. The final took place on Thursday, January 3, 2019 and competitions began on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
