Women's Individual - Skeleton - Torino 2006 Winter Olympics
Event Format: Drivers raced with high speed on a sled in a prone head-first position down an ice track through curved, high-speed turns. The competition was held over two days and consisted of four runs for each driver - two each day. The driver with the fastest total time for the four runs was the winner of the Olympic gold medal. Event facts: Women's Individual competition was held at the Cesana Pariol and 15 athletes participated in the event. |
