Format: Men's Team competition was an event in which athletes jumped from a large hill. Teams consisted of four ski jumpers and each athlete could make two jumps in the competition. Only the eight teams with the highest total score (based on distance points, judges points for style, gate points and wind points) after the four jumps in the first round advanced to the final round. Winner of the World Championship was the team with the highest total score for the eight jumps in the two rounds.
