Men's Large hill - Ski Jumping - Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics

Event Format: Men's Individual Large Hill competition is an event in which athletes jump from a large hill (hill size 140 m). The competition is a two-day event with a qualifying round and a final round. The 10 highest ranked ski jumpers in the world cup ranking is qualified directly to the final round but they are allowed to jump in the qualifying round for practice. From the qualifying round the 40 ski jumpers with the highest score (based on distance points, judges points for style, gate points and wind points) after a single jump advance to the final round the following day. 50 ski jumpers jump in the first round but only the 30 athletes with the best result after the first jump is admitted to the second round of jumps in the final. The ski jumper with the highest total score for the two jumps in the final round is the Olympic gold medalist.
