Women's Individual - Figure Skating - Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics

Event Format: Individual figure skating consisted of a short program including 7 compulsory elements and a free program including a free number of jumps, spins and steps. Points for the performances were given by 9 judges. Only the 24 figure skaters with the best points score after the short program were admitted to run the free program. The Olympic gold medal winner was the figure skater with the best total score for the short program and the free program.

Event facts: Women's Individual competition was held at the Iceberg Skating Palace and 30 athletes participated in the event.
