Event Format: Athletes will compete in three positions (prone, kneeling, standing) in a qualification round and the final, shooting distance 50 m. The top eight shooters in the qualification advance to the final, where the athletes start from scratch, as the points in the qualification is not counting. The final includes an elimination stage with the lowest scoring athlete eliminated after each shooting round, ending up with two athletes competing for the Gold Medal.
