Event Format: The format for the volleyball tournament will include a preliminary group stage followed by quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. In the preliminary phase the 12 participating teams are split into two pools of six in a round robin format with each team playing every other team in their group. The top four teams in each pool advance to the quarterfinals. Each match is the best of five sets. Sets one to four are up to 25 points and set five is up to 15 points, with all sets requiring a two point advantage to win. Event facts: Women's Volleyball competition was held at the Honda Center |
